After this, the Ukrainian player made a comeback but Vinesh kept the pressure on and won the match 7-5 and made a place in the semi-finals in a strong manner. This is Vinesh’s third Olympics. In the 2016 Rio Olympics, she missed winning the bronze medal by a narrow margin due to injury. In the Tokyo Olympics, she lost to Vanessa Kaladzinskaya in the 53 kg quarter-finals.
